I am passionate about working with survivors of trauma from sexual abuse, traumatic pregnancy & birth experiences, fertility struggles, NICU families, secondary trauma, and grief & perinatal loss. If you have experienced trauma or grief at any point in your life, I would love to meet with you and witness your story. No words are off limits, no stories are off limits.

Survivors of trauma often feel worried that they cannot share their experiences with others because it is too difficult to hear. I am able to sit with you to hear your story as many times as you need to tell it. When you are ready, I am here to hold hope for you as you begin your healing journey.

I have worked in a variety of settings including in a Children’s Advocacy Center to provide counseling to children that experienced sexual abuse and their families, and I decided to take the experience I had there and apply it to private practice. I built this practice around supporting children and adults that had experienced sexual abuse/assault and found a passion working with parents and parents to be when their sexual trauma was activated in the perinatal period. This led to me learning as much as I could about perinatal trauma, pregnancy and infant loss, NICU trauma and fertility struggles. I find that the parents I work with respond well to EMDR and sandtray therapy and am excited to start implementing trauma conscious yoga to my counseling practice. I have served as the Clinical Director for the Pregnancy and Postpartum Health Alliance since 2018 and was a co-founder of The Texas SandTray Association.

I use a variety of trauma-informed techniques in session including: play therapy, sandtray therapy, EMDR, Internal Family Systems, Psychedelic Assisted Psychotherapy, Accelerated Resolution Therapy, Brainspotting, Trauma Conscious Yoga Method, TF-CBT, and other expressive arts. We can use any of these techniques or just sit and talk. Please explore my website and contact me to schedule an intake.

I also have a passion for mentoring and teaching other professionals about the areas of counseling specialties that I have been learning about for many years. I love presenting at conferences and hosting workshops at my office. I am excited to be an instructor for the Touchstone Institute to share some of my workshops on a larger international platform.
