Lexi Losch, LPC

Lexi has officially been upgraded to full independent licensure!!!

Lexi is an approved provider for the Pregnancy and Postpartum Health Alliance of Texas. She currently specializes in working with clients who are experiencing a perinatal/postpartum mood disorder, birth trauma, parenting issues, grief and loss, and general depression/anxiety. The beginning of pregnancy and parenting can be difficult to navigate and she helps these clients find coping mechanisms and a support network that feels familial to them. Lexi also has experience working with families experiencing grief, young adults, and individuals in corrections. She is EMDR Trained, Gottman Level I Trained (to aid in couple’s communication) and is a DONA Trained postpartum doula.

Lexi provides services from a trauma-informed, person-centered approach, believing in the power of the therapeutic relationship to initiate the change process. She uses Narrative Therapy as a technique for making meaning of your life story and insight. Through this, you can pinpoint changes that need or want to be made and you can rewrite aspects of your life story to create the narrative that you draw strength from. She uses EMDR as a modality for treating traumatic stressors. If you’re a geek like her, then she would love to use Star Wars, Harry Potter, or any other geek/pop culture reference in sessions.

She received a master’s degree in Higher Education Administration from the University of Miami and a master’s degree in Professional Counseling from Texas State University. She loves reading and being a mother of three little dragons.

Lexi currently provides sessions in Northwest Austin (near Lakeline) and in-home sessions, as she understands how difficult it can be to leave home with children and/or scheduling in travel time to see a therapist when you are already not feeling your best. Her standard rate is $95. Lexi has some sliding scale spots available. An hour of therapy is truly one of the best gifts you can give yourself.
