Kathryn "Katie" Sleeper, LMFT-Associate #205703
Supervised by Kelsey Wood, LMFT-S #205957

Kathryn (she/her) enjoys working with adults and couples of all backgrounds, cultures, and relational dynamics. She has experience using emotion-focused, attachment, DBT, sex therapy, and solution-focused theories with adults and couples when working through anxiety, depression, divorce, grief/loss, trauma, life transitions, intimacy, infidelity, and more. She maintains a client-centered approach where the client has autonomy over the direction of their therapeutic journey. Kathryn fosters an empathetic, non-judgmental, and encouraging environment where the client can safely explore their experiences and emotions at their own pace. She supports setting small, achievable goals in order to accomplish client’s main goals as well as celebrating all positive changes no matter how small.
Kathryn has completed Level 1 training in Gottman Methods Couples Therapy and is currently working towards her Sex Therapy Certification through the Sexual Health Alliance. She plans to receive additional Sex Therapy Certifications. She continues to complete Perinatal Mental Health and Sandtray Therapy trainings with Lacey Castilleja-Fisher to provide informed and compassionate services for her clients.

Kathryn received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology degree with a Minor in Biology from St. Edward’s University in Austin, TX and her Master of Arts in Professional Counseling with an emphasis in Marriage, Couples, and Families from Texas State University in San Marcos, TX.
