Rebekah Murphy, LMFT-Associate #205589
Supervised by Brianne Blevins, LMFT-S, LPC-S, PMH-C #201508 Rebekah enjoys working with adults, couples, and other relational units from all backgrounds, identities, and cultures. With a focus in Relational-Cultural Therapy, she believes that growth and healing occur when individuals are free to be their authentic selves within supportive relationships. She has experience working with adults and couples navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, parenting challenges, grief/loss, life transitions, sexual challenges, and more. Rebekah believes that when you experience a therapeutic relationship where you can feel understood without being judged, it creates a blueprint for you to build connections in your life that have those same qualities. Therapy should also be practical for daily life. Each session is an opportunity to develop specific strategies that will help you navigate life’s challenges. You are the expert in your experience and possess all the tools you need to grow and thrive. |
In addition to her professional training, Rebekah’s own experiences with perinatal issues inform her practice. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of North Texas and her Master of Arts in Professional Counseling, with a focus on Marriage, Couples, and Family Counseling from Texas State University. She has completed additional training in sex therapy, and is continuously adding to her clinical knowledge around perinatal mental health issues.
