HOPE AND HEALING AFTER TRAUMA
Open Heart Counseling of Austin PLLC was formed in 2021 by Lacey Castilleja Fisher. Lacey wanted to create a practice that is all inclusive because she wants the community to have a safe space to come and share their stories so they may find healing after they have experienced trauma. Lacey wanted the name of her practice to reflect that she and her associates are ready to witness the healing journey of their clients with an open mind and an open heart.

Lacey has a passion for teaching and mentoring counselors in training as they are completing their supervised hours after graduate school. Her supervised associates are able to see clients under Open Heart Counseling and they bring a variety of skills and knowledge to this practice. Lacey brings on associates that are passionate about social justice, anti-racism, and are all inclusive so they can provide services to any client regardless of their race, age, gender, sexual orientation, religion, body size, or are neurodiverse.

Lacey has fully licensed associates and provisionally licensed supervised associates as part of the OHCA team. All associates are licensed in the state of Texas by the Texas Behavioral Health Executive Council's Board of Examiners of Professional Counselors. LPC-Associates are provisionally licensed while under supervision from a board approved supervisor.
If you are looking for counseling services for yourself or for your child, please view Lacey's page or check out Lacey's Associates to find the open heart counselor that is the right fit for you.
