Lacey Castilleja-Fisher,
LPC-S, RPT-S, PMH-C (she/her) #68983 I am passionate about working with survivors of trauma from sexual abuse, traumatic pregnancy & birth experiences, fertility struggles, NICU families, secondary trauma, and grief & perinatal loss. I see people of all ages in my practice, including very young children. If you have experienced trauma at any point in your life, I would love to meet with you and witness your story. |
Survivors of trauma often feel worried that they cannot share their experiences with others because it is too difficult to hear. I am able to sit with you to hear your story as many times as you need to tell it. When you are ready, I am here to hold hope for you as you begin your healing journey.
I have worked in a variety of settings including in a Children’s Advocacy Center to provide counseling to children that experienced sexual abuse and their families, and I decided to take the experience I had there and apply it to private practice. I built this practice around supporting children and adults that had experienced sexual abuse/assault and found a passion working with parents and parents to be when their sexual trauma was activated in the perinatal period. This led to me learning as much as I could about perinatal trauma, pregnancy and infant loss, NICU trauma and fertility struggles. I find that the parents I work with respond well to EMDR and sandtray therapy and am excited to start implementing trauma conscious yoga to my counseling practice. I have served as the Clinical Director for the Pregnancy and Postpartum Health Alliance since 2018 and was a co-founder of The Texas SandTray Association.
I use a variety of trauma-informed techniques in session including: play therapy, sandtray therapy, EMDR, Internal Family Systems, Psychedelic Assisted Psychotherapy, Trauma Conscious Yoga Method, TF-CBT, and other expressive arts. We can use any of these techniques or just sit and talk. Please explore my website and contact me to schedule an intake.
